A Holiday and a House!

Hi everyone,

This summer holiday we went to O Grove. My sister-in-law and her family came from England too. They stayed in a cabin and we camped. I loved camping except for one stormy night. It was scary but exciting at the same time. Fortunately, the tent did not get wet inside.

We had a great time. At the beach we played frisbee and petanca. The water was very cold for me so I didn't go swimming. I explored the rock pools. I found crabs, snails and fish. The food was one of my favourite things. We ate different types of fish and seafood. In the evenings, we played card games like Contract Whist and Sushi Go!

I also went to A Rúa to meet my side of the family and my best friend Ana. My cousin Inés prepared an epic sardine grill and we all went to the funfair.

However, the highlight of my summer was that we bought our first home. It was more difficult and took much longer than we expected but we did it! It needs a lot of fixing and we had the chance to get some work done during the holiday. It has been a steep learning curve in DIY.

We are really excited and would like to move in soon and host my British and Spanish families.
