Javi’s summer

Hello everyone.

I went on vacation with my family for two weeks to Carnota, where we met up with my cousin and his family.

As a starting point, and as is now a habit, my cousin cooked his wonderful seafood paella, which we bought from the fish market.

The best part of vacation for me is not wearing a watch and not knowing what day it is. The good thing is that this feeling starts from the first day, and even though two weeks go by quickly, it feels like I've been away for longer.

The first swim of the year is fantastic and also very fun with the waves.

What we missed out on was swimming at night to see the "Mar de Ardora". I hope to do it next year; this year there were too many mosquitoes.

  1. Great post, Javi. I agree - that feeling of not knowing (and not caring) what day it is is the best. Love the photography.

  2. You are a talented photographer Javi. I love how you describe a holiday. We should all get at least another one a year, one more chance to properly forget time. We have never seen the Mar de Ardora" and I am putting it on my list. Thanks for sharing!
