A Holiday in Three Parts!

Hello everyone!


I'm Lucas and my summer is divided in three parts:

The first part was in Madrid, where I live. It began after I finished school on 22 June. I spent time with my friends and my family in my condo swimming pool. Then I went to A Coruña where I stayed for more than one month. There I had a party with my friends and family at my grandma's villa. I also went to my mum's town, A Rúa de Valdeorras.

I especially liked the party in A Coruña!

    Spending one whole month near that beach with your family sounds wonderful Lucas! I was happy to see you face to face in A Rúa enjoying the rides at the fair. Much better than online! Let's repeat next summer!

This term my students have been learning about jobs and work vocabulary. We thought about the question: what do you want to be when you are older? Here are the many different and exciting jobs that these young people want to do when they grow up! The most popular job choice was teacher. I think it's great that so many people want to work with kids and share and help and teach! Being a footballer was another popular choice. You'll need to train hard guys! Two students want to be games designers. I love the mix of programming skills and creativity. And then we had two biologists (one of them specialising in ants - a myrmecologist!) Next up, two engineering-type jobs - an engineer and a technological designer. And to finish our dream jobs tour, we have a doctor, a tour guide and a fashion designer! Good luck to all of you! But also, don't worry about it too much. You are young, your ideas and dreams can change. Do what you love and study hard (but not too hard!)

My English Summer Camp

Hi everyone! This summer I went to Frankfurt summer camp with my brother Sunway. The English class was very cool. We played lots of English games, and German games.  I never saw those when I was in Taiwan. Many things were new , like the food, and the trees. They had many trees! And their supermarket had many cool foods. Juicy fruit, yum chips, and many types of cans. Can was like cooked fish, noodle, soup……I liked all of them. My classmates were very friendly, and very kind!  My teachers were really funny and smart! I really enjoyed my summer. What about you? Sunny
