Camper van in the Basque Country
Hello everyone!
This summer I went to the Basque country.
I camped in our camper van with my parents.
I had a brilliant time.
I went swimming at the beach.
My summer was fantastic.

What do you want to be when you're older?
This term my students have been learning about jobs and work vocabulary. We thought about the question: what do you want to be when you are older? Here are the many different and exciting jobs that these young people want to do when they grow up! The most popular job choice was teacher. I think it's great that so many people want to work with kids and share and help and teach! Being a footballer was another popular choice. You'll need to train hard guys! Two students want to be games designers. I love the mix of programming skills and creativity. And then we had two biologists (one of them specialising in ants - a myrmecologist!) Next up, two engineering-type jobs - an engineer and a technological designer. And to finish our dream jobs tour, we have a doctor, a tour guide and a fashion designer! Good luck to all of you! But also, don't worry about it too much. You are young, your ideas and dreams can change. Do what you love and study hard (but not too hard!)
What a great holiday Carmela! I would love to go to the Basque Country too. Your mum sent me other photos but I couldn't publish them all. One was at the Guggenheim museum, I wonder if you liked the art. And I also saw photos of you at a beach at the bottom of a hole dug in the sand. It was huge! I bet it was fun.
